THINGS TO DO IN THE FINGER LAKES

Wineries, Breweries, Distilleries in Schuyler County

The fruit of the vine? Schuyler County’s wineries along Seneca Lake offer reds and whites blended from the grapes from the beautiful vineyards that are prolific on the hillsides high above the shores of Seneca Lake. Taste the wines, enjoy the brews, enjoy the views.

SCHUYLER COUNTY AND SENECA LAKE – ITS ALL ABOUT WATER

Seneca Lake is 38 miles long and up to three miles wide. Enjoy the lake life? We have it here, bring your boat or rent one and get out on the largest of the Finger Lakes. Don’t want to captain your own boat, there are multiple boat tours leaving out of Watkins Glen to enjoy. Did we tell you about the waterfalls? There’s 19 just in Watkins Glen State Park. There’s many others to see as well, Aunt Sara’s Falls, Eagle Falls, Excelsior falls, Deckertown Falls and Shequaga falls just to name a few.

“I always wanted to come to the Finger Lakes and it was better than I imagined. We hiked the Watkins Glen gorge, sailed on the ‘True Love’, went on a blues cruise, and did some wine tasting.”

“There is a lot to do and see. The waterfalls are beautiful. We loved hiking the gorge. There are fantastic restaurants all around.”

“We enjoyed sitting in the grand stands at Watkins Glen International Raceway. We had no idea there would be access!”
